Established in 1956, the Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WIDHH) is a unique charity serving the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals throughout British Columbia. Our Agency provides services in Audiology, Employment Counselling, Seniors Outreach, Sign Language Interpreting and Communication Devices.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits, a friendly and dynamic work environment, and a chance to make a difference.   


Our Audiology department is current seeking a:

Clinical/Dispensing Audiologist at our Head Office location
Full-time, Permanent Position
Wednesdays to Saturdays (35 hrs/week)
Start date: August 8, 2018 or when position is filled


  • Active dual-license (Audiologist/Hearing Instrument Practitioner) with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) or eligibility for licensure
  • Certification with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) or eligibility for certification
  • Experience in dispensing hearing aids preferred
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Previous experience or interest in committee work, research projects, and clinical teaching
