Donations

The Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WIDHH) was established in 1956 by consumer groups to address concerns about accessibility and the quality of life for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in BC. WIDHH is a non-profit society that relies largely on private and public donations to deliver our programs and services.

Monthly Giving

Would you consider giving a donation of $30, $20 or even $10 a month to ensure that the Western Institute can meet the growing needs of Deaf, Deafened and Hard of Hearing British Columbians? Your contribution will make a difference in people’s lives.

All you have to do is print the Pillar Plan form, fill it out and mail it back with a cheque marked ‘void’. You may also make monthly donations on your credit card. Either way, we will ensure you receive a tax receipt for the full amount at the end of each year.

Membership

WIDHH was created by community members to address their needs. We make decisions on our programs and services based on those needs. Become a member today and help us grow! Benefits of membership include; quarterly newsletter, member prices for workshops, voting privileges at our annual meetings, and more.

Yearly membership fees are $15.00
Lifetime membership fee is $100.00
